Hiring! After-school Pottery Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching children?

We are looking for fantastic instructors to lead one-hour pottery classes for kids starting in March 2025. You don’t need to have prior ceramic experience, as our team at Jimmy Potters will provide all the necessary training.

However, candidates with years of experience teaching elementary school children are especially encouraged to apply. Whether you are a student in an Early Childhood Development program, hold a teaching credential, or have a degree in the arts, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

Our ideal instructor will have hands-on experience teaching children and be eager to bring that enthusiasm into our pottery classes.

You will foster positive connections with your students through energy and enthusiasm while demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

If you have expertise in artistic areas such as Early Childhood Development, Pottery/Ceramics, Watercolor & Acrylic Painting, or Mixed Media, we want to hear from you. We also value multilingualism, as we offer programs in English, Mandarin, French, and Spanish, welcoming native speakers of these languages.

As a Kids Pottery Instructor, you will be compensated $110 per class for a one-hour session over an 8-week period, with classes meeting once a week. Availability is required between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity in children while enjoying a fulfilling teaching experience. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to have you on our team!
