After-school mobile pottery Instructor position

About this Job

**Introducing Jimmy Potters: Where Creativity Meets Artistic Learning**

At Jimmy Potters, a family-owned pottery studio with 15 years of experience, we specialize in a variety of creative arts for children, including ceramics, mixed media, painting, and textiles. We are thrilled to announce our new after-school pottery workshop, designed for young artists to explore their creativity and develop valuable skills.

In our virtual workshops, participants will learn techniques such as hand building with clay, painting, and watercolor. Our experienced instructors not only teach these skills but also encourage collaboration among students, fostering a supportive and inspiring environment.

Since 2005, we have been dedicated to spreading the joy of pottery and mixed media in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, Maryland. We believe that artistic expression is essential for healthy development and that art should be a hands-on, engaging experience.

Our goal is to create inclusive spaces where children can craft unique treasures by hand. We also offer pottery and art classes, as well as summer camps, in Mandarin, French, and Spanish for children aged five to teenagers. While we are not language teachers, our art instructors help students expand their vocabulary and appreciate cultural diversity.

Join us at Jimmy Potters, where we enrich young minds through art and creativity. Together, we can inspire the artists of tomorrow!
